Are you a skilled professional with a passion for safeguarding critical IT infrastructure? We invite you to step into the pivotal role of a Disaster Recovery and Major Incident Analyst, where your expertise will be the driving force behind the development and execution of cutting-edge disaster recovery strategies.
As our Disaster Recovery and Major Incident Analyst, you will spearhead the creation and implementation of robust disaster recovery plans. Your mission extends beyond paper - you'll be on the frontline, orchestrating the response to major incidents, ensuring the swift resolution that keeps our IT infrastructure resilient and stable.
What you'll do:
Develop, maintain, and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.
Coordinate with various teams to conduct regular disaster recovery tests and drills.
Analyze and manage major incidents to minimize the impact on business operations.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure systems and data are backed up and can be recovered promptly.
Document all incidents, including root cause analysis and preventative measures.
Provide training and guidance to staff on disaster recovery procedures and incident management.
Monitor compliance with disaster recovery plans and make recommendations for improvements.
Prepare reports on incident trends and disaster recovery readiness.
Qualifications required:
Associate degree in IT, engineering or related technical field. Bachelor preferred.
Proven experience in disaster recovery planning and incident management.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, data centers, and cloud technologies.
Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance procedures.
